        Major Stanley Smyth Flower was an English army officer, science advisor, administrator, zoologist and conservationist.

        He was the second son of Sir William Henry Flower and his wife Georgiana Rosetta. He was Vice-President of the Zoological Society of London from 1927 to 1929.
