The National Zoological Gardens of Sri Lanka is a zoological garden in Dehiwala, Sri Lanka, founded in 1936. What is known today as the National Zoological Gardens of Sri Lanka was founded by John Hagenbeck in the late 1920s. An English translation of his work on eggshells was published by Cyril Tyler in 1964
